Norma Galafassi

Norma Galafassi is Co-Founder and Director of in2action and has been working extensively in fundraising and marketing for the not-for-profit sector for the last 30 years in over 30 countries.

She has helped various local and international organisations, providing strategy, creativity, consulting, training, campaign implementation and support services. These include organisations as diverse as the International Red Cross Federation, OXFAM, WWF, Tearfund, WWF, Aldeas Infantiles, among many others, including NGOs, museums, associations and local and national centers. She was the first Fundraising Director of UNICEF in Argentina, from where, among others, she was in charge of the integral production of the national telethon as well as many successful corporate alliances and a proactive direct marketing campaign.

She has a degree in Industrial Engineering and has a background in marketing, having previously worked for 3 years in the private sector at the Advertising Division of Exxon as Sales Promotions Manager.She is a recognised and experienced international trainer and invited speaker at Fundraising Congresses all over the world. She is a founding member, current volunteer and ex Chair of the Argentinean Fundraisers Association (AEDROS) and was the first Latin American trustee at the International Board of the Resource Alliance (UK) .

She is author of publications and contents related with Fundraising & Communications and wrote the Latin America chapter of the book “Global Fundraising: How the World is Changing the Rules of Philanthropy”, (edited by AFP Wiley, Bernard Ross and Penelope Cagney)
