Paula Brufman
Paula Brufman is a dynamic executive with a proven track record in executing strategic plans in collaboration with grassroots organizations, coalitions, and diverse teams. Her areas of expertise include strategic vision, diversity, equity, inclusion strategies, global climate policy, program strategy and oversight, fundraising, climate change, community-based monitoring systems, and advocacy.
Paula has worked at E Co. Ltd., Private Financing Advisory Network (PFAN), Environmental Markets Fairness Foundation, and ALLCOT Group among other relevant international organizations. She has managed a co-directorship at a non-profit organization, focusing on the development and enforcement of regulations to foster equitable and transparent environmental markets. She has also directed capacity-building initiatives and institutional arrangements for the implementation of Articles 6.2, 6.4, and 6.8 of the Paris Agreement, focusing on the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development to mitigate climate change.
Paula has extensive experience in various roles, including implementing the PFAN Gender Action Plan, promoting gender equality and empowerment in climate finance, and working with various stakeholders to promote women-led initiatives. She also worked as a Senior Advisor at APRA (the Environmental Protecion Agency of the City of Buenos Aires), where she developed strategic initiatives focused on economic, social, and environmental sustainability.
Paula has also worked as a Fundraising and Institutional Relations Manager at Hospital Británico in Buenos Aires, where she established and nurtured corporate social responsibility initiatives, managed stakeholder relations, and executed a fundraising plan that led to a substantial growth in donations. Additionally, she served as the Continental Communications Manager for SOS Children’s Villages in Latin America and the Caribbean, where she implemented innovative communication and fundraising programs to enhance donor engagement and revenue streams.
